ABOUT

After living in Phoenix, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Chicago, I moved to Detroit in 2010.  Detroit has been the place I've fallen in love with and feels the most like home.  It's a community unlike any other.  As a longtime, east side resident, I have been privileged to be welcomed into the neighborhood and now work alongside many of my neighbors for a local nonprofit.

I intend to use this space to highlight and uplift the spaces and faces that help make Detroit, in my opinion, one of the best cities in the world.  I am not responsible for discovering anything in Detroit.  Detroit has been here, and never left.  I am just celebrating the moments that bring me joy throughout the city.
